The hotel was stylishly decorated in a modern contemporary palette and offered a lovely upgrade with champagne and cake. However, the noise from garbage trucks and street revellers returning at 4 am was quite disruptive. The location was excellent for accessing the Salamanca Arts precinct and the wharfs, but the untrained staff were noticeable, especially regarding paid parking.
